Drier Air Brings Warmup After South Plains Cold Front

The South Plains sees drier air and a warming trend after a midday cold front. Agronomist James Supak says showers may pause corn harvesting but milo and cotton remain on schedule. Rainfall was scattered with noted totals across Lubbock to Abilene, while some areas logged tiny amounts and streets faced local flooding threats in Andrews and Midland counties.
