Man Plunges 7200 Feet In Parachute Accident

Fort Lee resident J Shortt, 34, aboard the Tri State Sky Divers, fell 7200 feet over Solberge Airport when his chute partially failed to deploy. He landed in a post and was hospitalized with a fractured pelvis and spinal injuries after the tangle prevented a safe parachute opening.
