Litton Industries Inc data systems division is awarded the first production option by the U S Army for Tacfire automated artillery fire facilities. The order includes eight systems with training and services and options for 43 48 and eight more over four years, continuing the earlier fire direction center contract. Tacfire sites include Litton facilities in Van Nuys California Lubbock Texas and Colorado Springs Colorado.
