Murders Charged In Caribbean Island Killings
In Christiansted St. Croix officials said three white murder victims, two Grove Park School teachers Cheryl Barr and Betsy Reedy, were killed by James Kinnon a 21 year old believed illegal from Montserrat who confessed to two counts of first degree murder. Henry Berry 35 an immigrant from St Bart's was killed at a nightclub exit. no arrest yet. Reedy's father described her as shy and loving children. Barr had ties to Boston and North Miami. Grand Jury Returns 36 Indictments In Texas Tech hit run case
A 140th District Grand Jury indicted 34 people Tuesday with 36 indictments reported to Judge William R. Shaver. Guadalupe Coronado Garcia, 72, faces murder with malice and failure to stop in the death of Linda Flanagan, 18, a Texas Tech student from Odessa. Paul Carson, 19, also an Odessa student, aided the hit run and was later hospitalized. Police seek a second suspect. An officer also faces a separate robbery indictment in a July 29 Farr’s Cafeteria holdup at Town and Country.
