O Wayne Ross 61 died about 4 p m Thursday in Methodist Hospital Lubbock from injuries after a pickup truck struck her while crossing in Plainview. Ricky Majors of Plainview drove the pickup. It is the fourth traffic fatality in Plainview this year. Services pending at Wood Dunning Funeral Home. Mrs Ross born in Lubbock moved to Plainview as a child. A former beautician, she had been a long distance operator for 20 years. Survivors include her mother Kate Price two daughters and seven grandchildren.
