Robbers bound night clerk Herman B. Hill II with tape at 3:45 a.m. and fled with $164.85 after failing to open a motel cash register and a safe. Two armed men, wearing pistols believed to be .38 and .44 caliber, fled after the hold up at the Holiday Inn Park Way in Lubbock.
