Man pleads guilty in city hijacking case for ten years

Kilburn Garry, 21, of Lubbock pleaded guilty in 140th District Court to the December hijacking at Twin Oaks Pharmacy. He received a 10 year prison term and had his prior five year burglary probation revoked. Kilburn was arrested at his home shortly after the hijacking and was on furlough from Big Spring State Hospital.

Tobago Hotel Hit By Flora

Flora slammed Tobago with 100 mph winds causing heavy damage across the island. The Crown Point Hotel was devastated and the airport submerged while Prime Minister Williams ordered emergency relief.
