Washington reports Mrs John F Kennedy viewed her newborn son for the first time Saturday night. She was accompanied by the president elect and said the baby had a slight respiratory ailment but is now fine. Kennedy noted the breathing apparatus was used and nothing abnormal was observed.
A ginner assistant at Hub Plains Gin died Saturday when a hydraulic unit descended while he tried to unclog a hopper. Pritchett, 42, a former Lamesa resident living in Lubbock since 1938, was dead on arrival at West Texas Hospital. Funeral set for Monday at First Christian Church.
