Floydada Man Freed Of Murder Charge
Floydada November 15 Special A 110th district jury found Bill Queen not guilty in the September 24 shooting of his son in law C. O. Patton. The trial began Tuesday with testimony through Thursday and closing arguments today in the home yard incident. Patton was 29 and from Matador. Queen is 52 and the verdict was read about 3:30 p.m. in Judge Alton B. Chapman's court. District Attorney Richard F. Stovall reported the jury deliberated about three hours.

Chest Campaign Gets Slow Start In Lubbock Drive
