Soldiers Johnsons Guests At Church In Texas Visit
Two Viet Nam veteran soldiers, Sgt. J. C. Vandiver and Spec. 5 Robert Sullivan, visited President Johnson at his LBJ Ranch for coffee then attended Communion at St. Barnabas Church in Fredericksburg with the first family. They were named outstanding soldiers of the 45th Army and shared experiences with the President before the service.

Sgt Lynn Eldon Mince 27, a Lubbock resident and Marine helicopter pilot, died from sniper wounds while rescuing wounded near Da Nang Viet Nam on Oct 27. He had served two months in Viet Nam and died at Clark Air Base in the Philippines. He leaves a Denver widow and two children.
