Roads closed U S 84 and U S 70 were flooded while utilities reported brief outages and strong gusts reached 58 mph at Reese AFB. Avalanche-Journal reports a daylight robbery at a Dairy Queen on E 4th Street and Quirt Avenue around 5 30 p m. Two to four men fled with about 7200 after a drive in hold up. A witness followed the suspects in a white car north on Quirt then east on Auburn. Attendant Valerie Wooten and another eyewitness described the assailants and the pistol used.
