Congress may fast track a bipartisan substitute to the Kennedy administration wheat control plan after growers rejected it in a Tuesday referendum. Strong winds felled seven utility poles in North Amarillo and damaged a six year old Stanton high school building. Graduation exercises for 36 Stanton seniors were delayed about three minutes as a tent and roof collapse caused $6,000 in damage.
