Former Amarillo officer convicted in teen murder case
Jimmy Paul Vanderbilt, 23, was found guilty Friday of kidnapping and murdering 16 year old Katina Moyer from Amarillo Palo Duro High School. The seven to five jury sentenced him to death after brief deliberation. Vanderbilt had been dismissed for brutality before the crime.
