Oil ventures drill across Texas with varied results
In Crane County the Atlantic No. 181 wildcat in McCamey area produced 290 barrels and 6,900 feet of oil through a 12-64 inch choke in 10 hours from perforations north of Andrews. In Gaines County the Foster No. 10 NCT-1 wildcat produced 83.74 barrels per 3LS gravity in 24 hours. Holt formation discovery reported near Oressa in Ector County with gas flow from a drillstem test. Nearby wells in Eddy and Hardeman counties show mixed oil flow and testing.
