Phantom cat burglar robs six Lubbock apartments
A stealthy thief struck in southwest Lubbock overnight taking almost $2,000 in cash and checks from six apartments around 49th Street and Knoxville Avenue. The richest haul came from Roy McNeice at 3539 49th Place with nine $100 bills and several smaller bills plus credit cards. Police noted unlocked doors as entry points and a near miss at McNeice’s home when he woke briefly during the night. The investigation continued.

Junell named president of Central National Bank in San Angelo
Junell, executive VP and advisory director of Citizens National Bank, was named president and CEO of Central National Bank in San Angelo, effective around June 1.
