Fire Breach Destroys Service Machinery on Slaton Highway

A late Sunday blaze heavily damaged Service Machinery Co on Slaton Highway and heavily affected Western Trailer Co next door. Firemen fought the flames from 11 p.m. to 11:45 p.m., leaving only charred office remains at the machinery shop and smoke and water damage at the trailer firm. Heaviest interior damage was at the machinery firm. no casualties reported.
