Hole in One Club faces action over prize promises
New York Attorney General Louis Lefkowitz says the Hole In One Club took $20 from members with promises of up to 200 in bar bills a resort vacation and 600 in equipment but failed to deliver to more than 350 hole in one winners. The club based in New York solicited nationwide signups and offered refunds to at least 359 disgruntled members. In another item a South Dakota State student eats 400 goldfish for charity. Barry Meyers, a junior from Wall, SD, swallowed the fish in five hours and 34 minutes to raise funds.
