An armed robbery suspect fled a Lubbock residence Friday and was moved to Merkel. Bernard Wright, 21, of 2124 List St was arrested about 9 a.m. and held on 20000 bond. David Alan Hancock, 21, of Lubbock was captured near 30th Street and Avenue U about 4:30 a.m. He was hospitalized in serious condition. Police say narcotics were taken in the Merkel Drug Store holdup and no money was taken. The suspects faced armed robbery charges with warrants issued by Justice of the Peace R H Buchanan.

ASHLAND NH AP Mr and Mrs Robert Cass faced March 11 as their 12 year old daughter Diana battled cancer and prepared to bring her brother Frank home from Vietnam. Diana died Wednesday and their 19 year old son also died in a mine explosion on March 11. Funeral services for both siblings will be held today.
