Balloon Cluster Downs Airplane in Ohio Crash

Area Soldier Kenneth Boykin Dies in Vietnam
Kenneth Lee Boykin 23 of Andrews died Thursday in a Communist mortar attack on a fire support base in northern South Vietnam. A specialist five with the 101st Airborne Division, he joined the Army Sept 1 1969 and was on his second Vietnam tour. He is survived by his wife Jeannie and son Kenny Lee of Andrews, his parents Mr. and Mrs. E B Boykin of Jasper, two sisters and seven brothers. Funeral arrangements are pending with Singleton Funeral Home of Andrews.
