Silent Bandit Robs Slaton Store For Cash

A masked robber armed with a note and a small pistol entered Handy Maid No. 3 in Slaton shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday. He demanded money from clerk Mrs Maxine Dewis, took cash from registers, and fled on foot wearing a black and red toboggan and a brown jacket. Police described him as a white man.
