Storekeeper Robbed by Youth in White Straw Hat

Preston's Mill Store No. 4 assistant manager A R Sills was held at gunpoint by a youthful robber in a white straw hat who stole SP10 8115 from the cash register at 4701 Ave. Sills said the gunman, about 5 feet 8 or 9 inches tall and 20 to 25 years old, wore gloves but he did not recall other clothes. Officers declined to link the holdup to a similar daytime strike on Lot-A-Burger No. 3 a week earlier, noting only dress similarities.
