Plans Set To Mark All Graves In Area Cemetery
In Lockney area, a community project aims to mark all graves in the local cemetery. The effort recalls early 1940s work by the Methodist Church and local residents to identify and preserve graves, with aging markers often illegible. The group seeks cooperation from residents as tax cuts and funding affect preservation.
