Rainfall Suppression Trial Testimony in West Texas Case

Two statisticians testified that hail suppression did not reduce rainfall and may lower hail amounts while defense witnesses argued against the conclusion. The trial in Judge Pat Boone Jr's court covers 127 dryland farmers seeking a temporary injunction to halt cloud seeding in Lamb Hale counties.

Helicopter Blaze Burns Slaton Men

Two Slaton pilots Robert Evans and Robert Mahon were badly burned when their helicopter caught fire after landing at the end of Slaton Municipal Airport runway. Evans was undergoing treatment at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock with burns to his legs and right arm, while Mahon faced critical injuries in the ICU with burns to arms, leg and head. Officials said the cause was under investigation, with preliminary notes that the craft was on the ground when the fire started. Police indicated they were practicing agricultural spraying and that Evans may have had an eye injury leading to the landing.

The rules cover admissions student treatment and employment across education levels and are open for public comment until Oct 15. They may not win final presidential approval before year end.

Teen killers plot insurance murder in Monroe

In Monroe Connecticut a 19 year old Thomas Bergeron and 18 year old David Stowe admitted to Killing 23 year old Christine Bergeron in her bedroom. They planned to wipe out the family and collect life insurance. The incident occurred pre dawn as the suspects fired at Christine and wounded her parents. Police say the attackers dumped the guns in a lake and were later arraigned on murder charges with bonds set at 100000 each. Christine was a 1969 Masuk High School graduate.

Rush Game All-America Football Tickets Sell Fast in Lubbock
