The suspects Mac Preston Hayes 18 Charles Leon Harris 19 and Jesse Cleveland Smith 20 admitted to being in a fight with Benton and two friends James Roy Robertson 20 and Wayne Sanford 20.
One pilot remains missing after five Navy F 9F jets encountered severe thunderstorms and a tornado warning. Four pilots crash landed safely across Kansas and Colorado, with crews search ongoing near Ness City and Victoria as the missing flyer is not recovered.
