LBJ Announces Surprise Paris Air Show Assignment

Youngster Dies In Freak Mishap In Quanah
Ten year old Ronald Wayne McGee of Lubbock died Thursday afternoon from injuries after falling from a tree onto a picket fence at his aunt and uncle's home in Quanah. He was taken to Quanah Memorial Hospital after the 1 pm accident and died during surgery. The boy was the son of Marshall L. McGee Jr. and his wife. The body was flown to Lubbock for funeral arrangements at Sander Funeral Home.
