Grazina M Brazaltis 22 of Willoughby was killed while walking across U S 20 near Lane Road in Perry Township after a party. She was to receive a bachelor of fine arts degree from Lake Erie College and her engagement to William F Shay Jr 22 of Painesville was to be announced by her parents. The death occurred minutes after midnight as the couple returned from a celebration. Braztalis had held her engagement ring since last Wednesday.

Slaton Man Nobilled in Elderly Companion Slaying
An 80 year old Slaton man was nobilled by a grand jury that also returned 18 indictments against other defendants Monday in Judge Pat Moore's 72nd District Court. Robert Griffin of Slaton was not indicted for murder without malice in the May stabbing of Eddy Johnson, 4, in Slaton after Johnson allegedly cut him. Griffin says he stabbed Johnson after being cut. Investigating officers say Johnson was stabbed with a pocket knife.

Circus Animals Parade Opens Lub bock Visit
Rain slowed the Ringling Bros circus train into Lubbock on Monday. The parade starts at 9 30 a m at the Santa Fe depot and proceeds west on Broadway to University Avenue then north to 4th Street and back to the Municipal Coliseum for 2 30 p m show.
