Katmandu Nepal transport minister Kedarman Sing Hathit opened the longest bridge on the Chinese built road from Katmandu to Lhiasa and Peking. The 192 yard by 25 foot span crosses the Indraviti River 35 miles north of Katmandu, capable of carrying 17 ton trucks and resisting minor earthquakes.
