Six-Foot Mini-Pike To Go On Exhibit At Texas Tech
The South Plains Model Railroad Club, growing in Lubbock, displays a six-foot square Mini-Pike at the Texas Tech Museum today. About 23 members own five to six thousand dollars of equipment and meet at Southwestern Public Service Co. The hobbyists, mostly adults from various walks of life, reproduce real railroading in scale from H O to model train kits and exhibit detailed scene work and figures.
