White Rock Lake Angler Lands 66 Pounder
Dallas angler George Lauderdale stayed within city limits to reel in a 66 pound yellow catfish at White Rock Lake. Dallas resident Jordan Trollinger boasted a strong black bass string at Platter Flats, while Billy McDonald of Sherman caught a 5 pound, large bass at Lake Texoma. Samuel Craft of Austin surprised with a seven inch squid at Town Lake. A 7 foot 6 inch poisonous snake was found near Pattonville as 1350 Camp Fire girls watched a snake program near Bonham. Wayne Hanselka, Texas A&M student from Victoria, is noted for tall tales of snakes as a wild‑hike major. See FISHING Page.
