Quarterbacks To Highlight Hula Bowl
HONOLULU AP A talented field of quarterbacks is set for today's Hula Bowl. East coach Bill Battle will start Dennis Franklin Condredge Holloway and Milt Holt to lead the offense, while Pat Haden and Stan Bartkowski share West signal calling. Gary Shiede of BYU withdrew with Fiesta Bowl injury. West coach Bill Yeaman plans a run pass option with Haden and Bartkowski, and Haden may target USC teammate John McKay. Anthony Davis may miss the game with bruised ribs, opening the door for Jim Upchurch and Willard Harrell to shoulder the West ground attack alongside Lawrence Williams.
