Levelland Couple Hurt In Two Car Crash Near Hurlwood
Mrs. Alma Dean Morris and her husband T. J. Morris of Levelland sustained injuries in a two car collision at Hurlwood about 12 miles west of Lubbock at 6 15 p m Saturday. The Morris car driven by Thomas Bruce Morris 15 and the other driver Walter Norman Mund 21 were uninjured. Investigating officers said Mund’s 1938 Axis mobile struck the Morris vehicle as it turned in front of the Hurlwood post office. The elder Morris and Mrs. Morris were transported to Phillips Dupree hospital in Levelland by ambulance from Rix Funeral Home of Lubbock. Morris was not hospitalized.
