Contempt fine added to bomb slayer Washburn in court
In Angleton Texas Judge G P Hardy fined Harry Washburn $100 and added three days to his 99 year sentence for contempt after he shouted that he was innocent amid testimony about the 1955 murder of Mrs Helen Harris Weaver. The case involved a bomb on a car and two trials with appeals reversing the first conviction.
