Fort Worth Charitably Aided by Public Fund Efforts
Fort Worth uses a public spirited fund to aid the poor during hot months by providing ice and food, employing a nurse to oversee nursing in poverty districts, and supporting the city’s welfare. A writer praises the city’s broad charity as a sign of a strong future. A letter from Abberton Texas urges a state rabbit bounty to aid agriculture, arguing rabbits harm crops and trucks, and urging legislative action to fund such measures.
