Webb AFB pilots survive crash near Ghisscock County ranch
Two Webb Air Force Base pilots bailed out of a trainer before a crash south of town. Capt William Cottingham 26 suffered neck injuries and was treated at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio. Capt Jeffrey Selitether, 28, was released after examination at Webb Hospital. The plane, rebuilt after shipment to El Paso weeks earlier, had just passed a flight test days before the accident.
