Baltimore officers filed murder complaints Thursday tied to the deaths of two men. The cases reference a group calling itself Black October and a Philadelphia derived pattern of violence. An arrest in a related heroin conspiracy case preceded discovery of threatening materials near the victims.
Police linked bullets to the same weapon in two murders and tied suspect Dobson to a Black October flyer. Dobson, son of church and community leaders, was arraigned in district court held without bail for an August preliminary hearing. A second taxi hijacking and a burning cab occurred as investigators pursued links to the Scott homicide and a broader conspiracy. Meanwhile actor John Vernon and Michael Caine were announced to star in Drabble for Universal Pictures.
