Deadly flash floods strike El Paso leaving one dead
Heavily raining in far West Texas floods El Paso with more than 2.19 inches in three hours Friday. A 62 year old man John W. Grantham drowned in a sinking car while two other vehicles and a pickup were washed into a drainage ditch. Rescue worker Santiago Patillo, 37, suffered a crushed leg but was listed in fair condition.
