A bold daylight theft stole $1,830.66 in cash and checks from a locked car Thursday. The victim, Mrs. Jack Graves of 2501 53rd Street, reported the loss after finding the money missing from her vehicle parked at 8th Street and Avenue H, three blocks from the Lubbock police station.
