Indicted in Abduction Robbery Case Involving Restaurant Assistant Manager

Mistrial Declared In Rape Case Against Jimmy Brown
After six hours of deliberation a 137th District Court jury failed to reach a verdict in the aggravated rape case against Jimmy Lee Brown 34 of 2627 E Baylor. The jury stood 11 to 1 for acquittal before a hung jury led Judge Wright to declare a mistrial. The district attorney said the case would be set as the first trial on the February 17 docket if permitted.
