Frenship School District Faces Integration Lawsuit
A lawsuit seeking admission of Negro children into white Frenship schools was filed in U S District Court Northern District of Texas Lubbock and named school board members and the county superintendent among defendants. Residents hoped the move would not trigger an integration fight while voters may be called for a pre integration election under a new Texas law.
