Soviet Union to test new rocket in central Pacific
The Soviet Union announced it will test a powerful new rocket in the central Pacific within weeks, off limits to ships and planes. First launches between January 15 and February 15 aim to develop a high accuracy vehicle without its final stage, with targets about 1,000 miles east of the Marshall Islands.
