Livestock Shipments Show Slight Drop
Texas livestock shipments to Fort Worth and interstate markets for November totaled 10,193 cars, down from 10,270 in 1942. Cattle and calves declined, sheep rose slightly, and hogs increased by 717 cars. Interstate Texas eggs shipments reached 1,099 cars, up 81.6 percent from 1942, while poultry declined sharply by 196 cars.
