Three Hurt In Pair Of Wrecks Near Lubbock
Three persons injured in two separate crashes Saturday night near Lubbock. A. R. Rose of McDonald New Mexico and companion Miss Alta Torpley were hurt when a car hit their vehicle causing it to overturn near the Slaton Highway. Rose suffered lacerations and Torpley was seriously hurt. B. E. Springfield of Lubbock sustained serious injuries, including broken ribs, when his pickup overturned three miles west of the Tohoka Highway on Slide Road. All victims were rushed to Methodist Hospital by red ambulance crews.
