Plane Crash Wounds Student Pilot Near Bronco Texas
A 22 year old student pilot walked from a light plane wreck two miles north of Bronco on a dirt road after takeoff. Eldon Whitaker of Seminole suffered multiple fractures of the left arm and a minor concussion. The crash damaged the wing and fuselage but there was no fire. He was taken to a Seminole hospital. Whitaker owned a two seat Aeronca Coupe and held a student pilot license.
