Residence Fire Injures Three In City Home
A blaze at 5502 17th Place sent three people to St. Mary's Hospital around 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Nine month old Ryan Boyd was in serious condition, father Martin Boyd a teacher at Corondo High School was also listed in serious condition, and Mrs. Boyd was treated and released. Fire marshal A C Black said the cause was undetermined, noting the fire likely started in a plastic trash container in the garage.
