City sells 3 million in bonds at high rate
The City Council sold three million dollars of general obligation bonds with bids up to 3.96 percent interest. To offset the high rate, the council passed a resolution directing investment in treasury bills. Treasury bills maturing in nine days yielded about 4.63 percent.
