Multiple Vehicle Crashes Hurt 12 In Lubbock Area

A Sunday spate of traffic incidents near Lubbock left 12 people injured, two critically. In Morton a head on collision on State Hwy 214 near Morton hospitalized Patsy Earls and John Salis in serious condition, while others sustained various injuries. Additional minor injuries occurred at three other crashes including near 33rd Street and Boston Avenue and at 40th Street and Ave A. Texas Tech student Phyllis Jo Crow suffered a minor injury in a College Ave collision, and Ayester Houston was treated after his SUV overturned north of Slaton on FM 400.
