Canyon Reef Section Finds Total Depth At 6930 To 6950 Feet
A study notes a total depth reading in the Canyon reef section from 6,930 to 6,950 feet. It marks a spot 660 feet north and 1,980 feet east within Section 30, Block 4, H&GN survey on a 40 acre lease.

Oil exploration notes and swab results across West Texas wells
South Basin test near Pecos County shows a 54 inch casing set at 15 300 feet with perforations opposite Wolf camp, 15 041 066 feet and 15 072 88 feet in lime and dolomite, preparing to swab test. No 2 Galerie potential pumping 27 1/2 barrels at 3228 to 3326 feet with 4 1/2 inch casing and 3288 foot pick. OCHILTREE Pan American discovery near Abilene in Taylor County reports gas and oil flow on a drillstem test after reperforation.
