Three Hurt In Car Accidents In City Weekend
Three persons two pedestrians were injured in traffic mishaps Saturday in Lubbock. Five year old Martha Kaye Austin suffered a broken leg after being struck near Thirty first and L Morris described as rider of horses caused the child to run into the car. Mrs Frank Harvey suffered abrasions and hip injury when struck while crossing Broadway and Ave R about 7 15 p m. Elbert Trible driver of a light sedan east on Cooles was not seriously hurt. Windal Hartsfield suffered head injuries in a collision at Twenty fourth and Ave V. Hartsfield was riding in a car driven by Charles Garner and Raymond Wright drove a heavy sedan. All were taken to Lubbock Memorial Hospital for treatment. Police and investigators examined the incidents.
