North Vietnam rejects Johnson peace talks terms says Rusk

Indictment Links West Virginia Officials to Bribery Scheme

A federal grand jury in Charleston charged former Gov William Wallace Barron and five other state officials with bribery conspiracy. Insurance Board Plans Home Hazard Rate Reductions

State Insurance Board experts recommend an average 3.6 percent cut in home and building hazard insurance with a larger drop in the Lubbock area. The board should approve new fire extended coverage and homeowners policies within a week, effective June 1. statewide fire premiums have fallen 4.4 percent, the first drop since 1962. Homeowners policy premiums face a 6.6 percent cut nationwide, with Seacoast Houston area at 3.14 percent and central regions not yet broken out.
