Raw farm prices rise again to near record levels

New Texas License Tags Go On Sale Today

The 1974 red and white Texas license plates go on sale at 8 50 a m today in several area locations including the Lubbock County Courthouse banks in Lubbock the Slaton branch tax office and at Idalon Shallowater Wolfforth and New Deal. About 150000 registrations are expected with 152227 plates issued for 1973 as of January 25. A mail service may yield up to 5000 additional registrations.
